College and Career Readiness

The Contra Costa County Office of Education is committed to supporting College and Career Readiness (CCR) for all students in Contra Costa County. The CCR department helps coordinate Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at school districts through the Regional Occupational Program (ROP), the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant (CTEIG), and the K12 Strong Workforce Program (K12SWP). Support includes funding of ROP classes, articulation with community colleges, alignment to UC/CSU 'a-g' requirements, work-based learning opportunities, teacher credential assistance, and much more.
