Clinical Medical Assistant
This course prepares students for entry level positions as a clinical medical assistant in doctor's offices, clinics, or HMOs. Instruction includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, injections, phlebotomy, vital signs, basic lab procedures, and charting. Externships are served at local medical facilities. Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED. Must have one year of health-related work experience or complete an Administrative Medical Assistant class. Current TB test and physical required prior to starting internship.

Process Plant Operator
Learn mechanical skills for boilermaker, pipefitter, machinist and welder. Learn other skills needed to pass employment tests for industries.
Prerequisites: Pass basic math/reading test and valid California Driver's License
