Contra Costa County Office of Education

The Contra Costa County Office of Education Teacher Induction Program (TIP) provides new teachers with a personalized, equity-centered induction experience supported by skilled mentors. Our program helps educators grow professionally while fostering inclusive, equitable environments for students.
CCCOE TIP is accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and partners with districts and agencies across California to offer both in-person and fully online options.

What is Teacher Induction?
Our two-year, job-embedded program pairs new teachers with experienced mentors for weekly support, goal-setting, and reflection. Designed to enhance teaching practices based on the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP), CCCOE TIP helps teachers build skills and improve student outcomes. Upon completion, candidates are recommended for a California Clear Teaching Credential.
